In this section you will find answers to the most frequent questions. If you have any other questions related to our products, we are at your disposal.

1. WHAT IS THE IDEAL SIZE OF A MATTRESS?

The mattress must be at least 20 cm longer than the height of the person who will use it.

2. WHAT IS THE TIME FOR THE BODY TO ACCOMMODATE WITH A NEW MATTRESS?

The body of each of us can react differently to a new mattress. Most of the time, the accommodation or transit time between an old mattress and a new one can be between 1-3 weeks. Especially if you have an old, soft mattress that has areas where the sponge has been left or the springs have broken, the spine must get used to the support that a new mattress offers. This change manifests itself in some people with back pain, while in others no change manifests itself.

3. HOW DO I DISCOVER WHICH MATTRESS HARDNESS IS OPTIMUM FOR ME?

The hardness of a mattress is subjective and depends on what each individual prefers. The optimal hardness for each individual is normally determined by testing a mattress in the store.

4. WHEN SHOULD I CHANGE A MATTRESS?

The lifespan of a mattress depends a lot on the materials used and their quality. In general, it can be said that after 5 years, the degree of support of a mattress decreases. Changing a mattress cover for reasons of hygiene is recommended sooner than 5 years.

5. WHY DO NEW MATTRESSES HAVE A SPECIFIC SMELL?

New mattresses may have a specific smell, but they do not harm health. The smell normally disappears after a period of use between 1-3 weeks.

6. WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES BE CAREFUL ABOUT?

People suffering from allergies tolerate synthetic materials better. For this reason, they should purchase mattresses with removable covers that they can wash as needed. For this reason, most of the textiles we use are anti-allergy treated, which in the long term ensures a germ-free climate.

7. HOW DO I CARE FOR MY MATTRESS?

For mattresses that have a removable cover, they can be washed in the washing machine on a normal program with a suitable detergent. If the covers made of tricot material change their shape, they return to normal if the material is stretched. For mattresses that do not have removable covers to remove small stains, we recommend using a soft brush and suitable detergent. Do not expose the mattress to high temperatures or directly in the sun, also hot water bottles or electric pillows with temperatures over 40 degrees can damage the mattress.

8. WHY IS THE BASE ON WHICH I WILL PUT A NEW MATTRESS SO IMPORTANT?

The base on which the mattress is placed increases the quality of the mattress. The symbiosis between the base and the mattress creates an optimal sleeping environment. The base offers an extra support that, depending on the position in which you sleep, should adapt to it together with the mattress.
