    Down comes from waterfowl, such as ducks and geese. The main function of down is that of insulation and is the reason why it is found on the body of birds. Down feathers are almost three-dimensional and have many wavy threads that can both absorb moisture and keep the body warm.

    Goose down has a very fine structure that allows it to store a large amount of air. . Thus, the quilt will easily return to its original shape after compression. The more goose down the filling contains, the warmer, lighter and more voluminous the quilt will be. Goose down allows for very good air circulation inside the quilt and absorbs moisture.

    Quilts and pillows must be shaken daily, to maintain the shape of the filling, as well as the strength of the down and pillows.

    Avoid vacuuming or beating the duvet, as you may damage the down or feathers. If the comforter is machine washable, follow the instructions carefully and make sure it is completely dry before using it again.
